This $5,000 award celebrates nurses who have completed their education and are ready to pay off student loans or invest in their empowered future.

To be considered for NCW scholarships, you must register for the event. Please complete the registration form and indicate your interest in the scholarships.

Step 2: Check Your Email for the Application

If you selected interest in scholarships during registration, you’ll receive a follow-up email with a link to the scholarship application. Applications must be completed by the deadline to be considered.

Catalyst Scholarship Winner: Cynthia

Awarded during Nursing Careers Week, this scholarship supports nurses advancing their education and preparing for leadership roles in clinical practice and patient advocacy. Cynthia’s journey—from her early perioperative nursing experience in Nigeria to pursuing her BSN at the University of Suffolk—reflects resilience, precision, and a deep commitment to compassionate care. With aspirations to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and later earn a DNAP, Cynthia is driven to align her practice with global standards and expand her impact. The Catalyst Scholarship will allow her to reduce educational expenses, focus on her studies, and continue shaping her path toward advanced practice nursing. Her story exemplifies the power of determination, empathy, and vision in transforming healthcare.

Empowered Scholarship Winner: Esther

During Nursing Careers Week 2025, Health Carousel International proudly honored nurses who embody resilience, purpose, and leadership. This year’s $5,000 Empowered Scholarship was awarded to Esther Adekola, a dedicated nurse whose passion lies in advancing health equity for underserved and immigrant communities. With plans to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and launch a preventive wellness program, Esther is committed to transforming lives through accessible, compassionate care.
