Bhumika Thapa, RN, BSN

Bhumika Thapa is a registered nurse originally from Nepal with a Master’s degree in Nursing, specializing in Medical-Surgical Nursing. While her academic background is rooted in medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric and behavioral health nursing has always been a strong area of interest and passion. She currently serves as a Psychiatric Nurse at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, one of the largest behavioral health organizations in the United States. Since completing her orientation, Bhumika has taken on additional leadership responsibilities and has been entrusted to serve as a charge nurse, supporting her team and contributing to the safe and effective care of patients with complex behavioral health needs. She is passionate about therapeutic communication, crisis management, patient safety, and providing compassionate, recovery-focused care. Bhumika is a two-time recipient of the Safe Scan Award, recognized for maintaining 100% compliance with barcode medication scanning and demonstrating a consistent commitment to safe medication administration. Her journey from Nepal to building a nursing career in the United States reflects her resilience, adaptability, and dedication to professional growth. She is committed to advancing her expertise in psychiatric nursing, developing as a healthcare leader, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families navigating mental health challenges.
