After a seven-year career in healthcare, primarily as a pediatric ICU nurse, April founded NurseMoneyDate® in 2021 and has since worked full-time educating and providing financial literacy to the nursing profession. She is known for her unique approach to teaching finance in “nurse speak,” translating complex financial concepts into language and real-life context nurses can actually understand, helping move them from financial avoidance to financial confidence.

In this session, nurse financial coach April Waddell, will introduce a simple financial roadmap designed specifically for nurses.
